When I started researching my families, I was amazed to find I had so many family members in the Civil War. So far, I have verified 14 veterans. I have 3 gg grandfathers, and 11 ggg uncles that served in the Confederate States of America Armies, but one gg grandfather and his 2 brothers, had a change of heart and joined the Union Army. But, they are all mine, and they fought for what they believed in.
